Readers Dozen – April 2024

It’s April 1 – time for a new Readers Dozen challenge. This month, read a book – whatever genre – that’s written by an African-American author. You could definitely choose a classic by Toni Morrison, or James Baldwin, or Zora Neale Hurston, but you could also choose a great contemporary author like Kiley Reid (we love her latest, Come & Get It), S.A. Cosby (start with Blacktop Wasteland), or Isabel Wilkerson (if you haven’t read Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, you definitely should).

Then, fill out your form by May 7 to be eligible for the yearly prize. Good readings!
