If you haven’t heard it already, 2009 is the bicentennial of Abraham Lincoln’s birth, and there are big happenings across the country for the celebration, including our own in-house display. But more on Lincoln coming in February…
It also happens to be the bicentennial of two other intriguing, change-the-world men; one who revolutionized the field of science – Charles Darwin, and another who created the genre of literature we call the detective novel – Edgar Allan Poe.
