Summer Reading Contests

Did you know that in addition to our reading contest (read a book, fill out a recommendation form, enter the prize drawing), we’re also running a fun “Cover Contest” every two weeks. And, the best part is – you can enter the contest online!

Click here to go directly to this week’s contest – it ends on June 15th. (You can also get to it from our main Summer Reading page.) And have fun, without using Google too much!

By the way, the prize for the contests is one of our nifty official Adult Summer Reading tees!

Summer Reading’s Back!

SUMMER READING HAS RETURNED!

Each summer, libraries across the U.S. encourage adults to take some time out of their busy (or lazy) summer schedule to read. This year, we’re celebrating the night with our theme, “Between the Covers,” focusing on good books to keep you reading into the wee hours. The program runs from June 4 through July 28. See our Summer Reading Page for more information. Challenge yourself to getting a couple of books finished this summer and you could even win an e-reader this year!
