Art and Soul at the Library

It’s time once again in the Magic Valley to recognize the artistry of our community through the Art and Soul contest event! For the past two years dozens of artists have entered their works – in a variety of mediums – which are then displayed around the city of Twin Falls. Community members who are interested can pick up a voting form and help choose winners. There are $34,000 available in cash prizes this year, so voters are really important. (You can pick up a voting form inside the Library.)

The Twin Falls Public Library has served as a venue each year, and this year is no exception. The artists we will be hosting is Rachel Vanderpool and we are featuring her painting “Baldy” in the Library entrance. The event began Friday, April 17, and voting continues through Saturday, May 2, so stop by and take in some great art when you visit the Library!

This Friday (May 24), we’ll be holding an Open House celebrating the artist and her work. Stop by for a cookie and a chat with Rachel from 1-3 PM.
